Organization XIII HQ

For hundred of years the city of Deepgate has hung suspended by chains over a seemingly bottomless abyss. Sunlight reaches it only on during the Summer Solstice. In the darkness below was said to reside the ancient spirit of Charn who lies sleeping, yet consumes all that fall into her grasp. Outside the city extends the dark gloomy forest of Iril, inhabited by hungry beasts, and though bridges link the city to the world outside, safe access is guaranteed only by air.

At the hub of the city rises the Palace where the important things happen. Around it is the city where life goes on peacefully save for the sudden roar or disturbance. In the bowels of the city is where the true vampire's lair.
In this city, humans and vampires live together in an uneasy harmony, being unable to tell one from another as the lack of sunlight makes everyone's skin pale and almost sickly.

Raev

Stepping into the horizon, Raev gazed upon the vast chasm of which the city of Deepgate hung whimsically. It has been a week since the Bloodfangs have congregated in Luna Grail, and a week's worth of time shaved of from their brief reprieve.

"Finally, Deepgate. Those parasites sure picked the right time to send me on a field trip. Oh well, better get going."

Raev effortlessly jumped from rock to rock and made his way down the jagged mountainside and walked aloofly on the long wavering bridge that was the only path in and out of Deepgate, for normal humans that is. As he walked he looked down into the deep, dark abyss that had its mouth open for anything that fell in. The chasm, so menacingly huge and the deep black made Raev lose balance and almost fall from the bridge. While his eyes were fixed into the black, he saw a brief glimpse of the devilry hidden in its bowels.

"Hm, wouldnt wanna fall in there..."

Raev picked himself up and proceeded to the city gates and knocked.

"Wait, what the hell am I doing, knocking on the door of a ghost city?"

With that, Raev kicked open the gates and walked in.

On the top of the left gate tower sat a figure, it was curled up, with it's head to its knees and a cloak was folded on its back. It woke and lifted its head as the gates swung open to see a person walking in below.

"Vampire." it thought, and stood up, letting blood flow through its vein to it's limbs that were numb from sitting in the cold for hours. Then it stepped off the edge of the roof and spread it's cloak, revealing it to be leathery bat shaped wings, the frame was made of dull metal and it was surgically attached to it's back. Air borne the creature with ease, and it circled high above the vampire before landing silently in the shadows behind him.

Oska (Human Form)

A shadow from a human figure walking in the forest of Iril, the forest is said to be inhabited by hungry beasts, but the human figure was still walking fast, ignoring the fear. The figure came across a huge castle and a large gate in front of it, he saw a man that he recognized and a figure behind the man.

He ran to the man and said, " I don't want to see violence here, or do you?" looked at the figure behind the man. "Raev. What are you doing here? Did the lady ordered you to come here?" he asked the man and looked at the figure behind him.

Raev

"Do I look like I came here on my own accord? And what are you getting all aggressive about?" said Rave.

Oska's eyes were, however, not fixated on Raev as he spoke his first sentence. The muscles in Raev's hands began to tense and he looked into Oska's eyes and whispered.

"There's something behind me, isnt there?"

The creature stood still despite being noticed. The light was not enough to let the others see anything more than it's outline. Slowly, silently, it circled the pair from the shadows without making a move to step into clear sight. In it's mind and eyes, it observed the pair carefully. It was not usual for a werewolf to be friends with a vampire, not with the centuries of trouble they had caused each other. Yet this pair seemed to be more than acquaintances. Plus, there was this the lycan spoke of that seemed to govern both of them.....

Having found a good spot, it crouched down, almost invisible in the darkness.

Oska (Human Form)

"Yes. There WAS something behind you, It was fast." he said and hears something in a dark spot. He changed slowly into a lycan, fur grew from his skin and a snout formed on his head and his ears twitched.

Oska (Lycan Form)

"Found you..." the lycan said and looked at the dark spot, "There's the thing that was behind your earlier, Raev." he said, "Offtopic, I see, the lady ordered you to come. My master by the way is with the lady." He said still looking at THE THING on the dark spot.

Having observed enough of the intruders, the creature stepped into sight. The light revealed something almost terrible, the creature might have once been human, but a surgical knife and countless stitches have wipe the humanity off it. The creature's lips were stitched shut and it's throated sliced open vertically, revealing it's vocal chords. A scar zigzagged across it's face like a crack in concrete. Jagged gears poked out from gashes in the skin. The torso, had been hollowed out, but despite all this mutilations, this creature was still alive and moving.

Upon locking eyes with the pair before it, a hollow voice drifted out of it's throat: "Friend or foe?"

Oska (Lycan Form)


"Perhaps both?" he said with a smile, "We are from Luna Grail. Perhaps you've heard of the place?", he asks like a gentleman. "Aren't we from the place, Raev?" Please correct me, if I were wrong." he laughs.
